Terms and disclaimer

Last updated: June 15, 2026. Short and in plain language: use cutlistlab as a handy tool, but always check your own measurements.

What cutlistlab is

cutlistlab is a free online tool that calculates a cutting plan for sheet material, designs a cabinet to size and tracks your offcut stock. It is meant to help you plan and waste as little material as possible. It is not a replacement for your own skill, your own measurements or professional advice.

Always measure for yourself. A cutting plan, panel size, quantity or any figure from cutlistlab is a calculation based on what you enter. Check every measurement before you cut, order or pay. Wood that has been cut wrong cannot be undone.

No liability for calculations and use

We do our best to keep the calculations correct and the results useful, but we make no warranty that they are error-free, complete or fit for your specific situation. You use cutlistlab entirely at your own risk.

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for damage arising from the use of cutlistlab, or from being unable to use it. This includes, but is not limited to:

You remain responsible for the final sizes, the cutting order, the order you place, and working safely with tools.

Independent and retailer-neutral

cutlistlab is independent and deliberately retailer-neutral. We have no partnership, sponsorship or commercial tie with any store, manufacturer or supplier. We receive no commission and are not paid to recommend a particular store or product. You are entirely free to buy your material wherever you like.

Availability of the service

cutlistlab is provided “as is”, with no guarantee of availability, error-free operation or preservation of your data. The tool is free to use at the moment; we may change, limit or discontinue features, terms or availability in the future. For important projects, make your own backup using the export function.

Your data and your own use

How we handle your data is explained in our privacy statement. You use cutlistlab for your own DIY or work projects. Misuse, automated large-scale data scraping, or use that harms the service is not allowed.

Governing law

The use of cutlistlab is governed by the laws of the Netherlands. If any part of these terms turns out to be invalid, the remaining parts stay in force.

Changes

We may update these terms as the tool changes. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. If you keep using cutlistlab after a change, you agree to the updated version.
