Nightstand with two drawers 18 in

A handy nightstand of 18 in with two drawers, just enough for a book, your glasses and small bits.

Two equal drawers on a low, square carcass. Check the clearance your slides need and the drawers will run smoothly.

What makes this design special

A drawer front over the whole face, split into two equal drawers. Make it three, or add an open bay.

Material and sheets needed

Based on the panel sizes above, this project takes about 1 sheet of 3/4 in (18 mm) plywood and 1 sheet of 1/4 in (6 mm) plywood (back panel). Prices vary by country and store, so check your local supplier; the tool works out the exact number of sheets and can show real prices from its material library.
