Export and print

Every output format in a row: PDF, print, image, CSV, project file and DXF, and what each is for.

The export menu

Everything sits under Export at the top.

Choice	What you get	What you use it for
Cutting plan as PDF	A PDF file, downloaded straight away.	To take to the saw bench or the cutting service. The most used one.
Print or PDF	Your browser print dialog.	Straight onto paper. Note: not every browser offers a PDF option there; otherwise use the PDF above.
Print labels	Labels to stick on your panels.	So pieces do not get mixed up. See Labels.
Cut list as CSV	A CSV file with all the sizes.	To put in a spreadsheet, or email to a cutting service. See CSV in and out.
Image (PNG)	An image of the drawing.	To paste into a message or forum post.
Image (SVG)	The same drawing, but as vector.	Stays sharp at any size; opens in a drawing program.
Export project file	A file containing the whole project.	Backup, or moving to another device. Read it back with Load project.
CNC export (DXF)	A drawing file for a CNC router.	Only needed when having it cut by a router shop. See also CNC mode (tighter, not straight-cuttable) in Settings.
Share this project	A link containing the project.	To let someone look along. See Projects.

Choose what goes on paper. The file downloads straight away, so you do not need a print dialog with a PDF option.

You tick yourself what goes on it.

Cutting diagram per sheet: The drawing, per sheet. The core of the document.
Cut list with sizes: All pieces with their sizes, to measure against.
Cutting order to tick off: The cutting order with boxes, to tick off while you cut.
Offcuts you keep: What you have left. Handy to know what goes into your shed afterwards.
Shopping list with prices: The shopping list with guide prices. See What do I need.
Cabinet view: The elevation of your cabinet, if you designed one.
Paper size: A4 or Letter, with Portrait or Landscape. Landscape gives a wide plan more room.
Each sheet on its own page: Every sheet on its own page. Pleasant when you lay the pages next to the saw.

Note Note: this font has no Greek, Cyrillic or Asian script. Those characters will not print correctly; use Print or PDF instead.
